What counts as a platform?

One generated target for a linked project: an SDK in one language, the CLI, or the MCP server. TypeScript, Python, and Go SDKs each count as one. A TypeScript SDK, a Python SDK, and a CLI are three platforms. The CLI and MCP server ship inside the TypeScript package, so they need the TypeScript SDK on.

How is the bill calculated?

Platforms on across all your linked projects, at the high-water mark for the month, times $299. Endpoints are counted once per project, on the spec after your patches are applied — generating three languages from one spec does not count its endpoints three times. The first 250 are included and each one past that is $1.50 for the month. Turning a platform off stops its generation and its charge from the next cycle.

What happens when my spec has more than 250 endpoints?

Nothing stops. The generation runs in full, the extra endpoints are metered at $1.50 each for that month, and the pull request says how many. That is a little above the $1.20 an included endpoint works out to, not a penalty rate. Removing operations with a spec patch reduces the count. Past 500 endpoints, talk to us about volume pricing.

What if I add a language later?

Turn it on in project settings. It gets its own package, its own repository if you want one, and its own pull requests, and it counts as one more platform from that cycle.

What happens if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

You keep everything. The generated packages have no runtime dependencies and live in your repositories, and nothing changes in code you have already merged. Regeneration, preview builds, and the hosted URLs stop. The generator on the homepage stays free.

Is generation on the homepage really unlimited?

Yes. No account, nothing stored, as many runs as you want. Each run covers the first 25 endpoints of the spec and one platform. A linked project on Pro covers the whole spec and every platform.

What is Enterprise for?

Accepted Answer

Large APIs, many projects, and the hosted MCP endpoint: typeship running your API as a remote MCP server at a stable URL your customers connect to. Enterprise is priced by contract with annual invoicing, includes enterprise SSO for the console and a dedicated Slack channel, and comes with onboarding and migration help.
